The Silent Cheer

It's that time of year, again.  Everyone has to sing Take Me Out To The Ballgame, if for no other reason than to hurry Spring along.

Classrooms can devolve into partisan acrimony during the song when it comes time to root for the "home team". To avoid this spectacle of jealousy try the silent cheer. At the very moment in question everyone must be completely silent, while waving arms and gesturing wildly.

We always benefited from the success of the group to achieve perfect cooperation and to actually all be completely silent. Usually takes a few tries to achieve this noble goal. Unlike our ball clubs which fail perpetually.
