Klondike Fever

Here's the link to the script. Klondike Fever. One of my favorite shows. We put it on in 2006. After reading it I was struck by how much fun went out of our shows when the new principal came in and banished humor. 

The other big shift was to pander to the interests of PreK parents who want to leave immediately after their child's class. Of course, that meant PreK had to go first in every concert. In my opinion, having the very little ones come in to the shows midway was a great treat for everyone in the audience. 

In this show they appeared in a saloon and sang an aria from Offenbach's "Tales of Hoffman", "La Belle Nuit". 

Time moves on, but things don't always get better.
