The chance we're waiting for

To run and jump and set a pick

To rebound, outlet, and pass so slick

With fakes so good it makes them sick

To press them into a juvenile fit

We're really getting the hang of it

But the season's over and the gym went dark

spring is here- and playing in the park

Where everyone's so adorable

And everyone's a winner

Where all you need is faith

And no one's an awful sinner

The cruelest sport of all

Where it helps to be six feet tall
